Evening activities
Oxford, United Kingdom 21-25 July
Participants
attending our training reap the benefit of our knowledge and
experience. They also speak of the valuable and enjoyable time they
have socialising and networking informally outside course hours –
taking part in evening activities such as debates, sight-seeing tours,
and (always the highlight of the week) a river cruise with onboard
barbecue.
You are warmly invited to join us…
Courses run from 9am to approximately 5pm, and you are invited to join us for a range of optional evening events:
Monday 21 July
An evening reception is offered to welcome participants. Drinks will be served after the training course.
Tuesday 22 July
Proforest
is delighted to invite all delegates for a three-hour river cruise,
including onboard barbecue dinner. This is always a highlight of the
week.
Wednesday 23 July
Panel discussion on a theme related to sustainable production and use of natural resources. Panellists will be asked to respond to a predetermined topic, followed by an opportunity for questions from the audience (details to be posted here soon). Refreshments and drinks will be served at a reception after the debate.
Thursday 24 July
We recommend two options:
-
Take an Oxford guided walking tour (university and city tour for two hours) to get to know the heart of the historic city centre, the story of Oxford and its university, the architecture and traditions of its most famous buildings and institutions.
-
Join ProForest staff for a drink in one of Oxford’s most famous pubs.
Participants cover their own costs for both.
