This course provides practical guidance on understanding and managing timber supply chains. Through a combination of presentations, discussions and workshops we provide participants with the information and techniques needed to develop and successfully implement a responsible purchasing policy.

You will develop an understanding of certification processes, traceability and chain of custody. You will also gain an overview of the various initiatives that currently exist to tackle unsustainable forest management practices and illegal logging, and how these can be linked to responsible business through good supply chain management.
