ProForest aims to make a genuine contribution to sustainable management of natural resources. We try to ensure that this philosophy underlies all our activities and services.

ProForest aims to provide a high quality of service to its clients and a fulfilling working environment for its staff. To achieve this:

1 ProForest aims to provide clients with a consistently high quality service. ProForest discussionsTo ensure this:
• we seek to recruit and employ only people who are genuinely interested in, and committed to, sustainable development.
• we will preferentially develop long-term relationships with sub-contractors who share our aims and values.
• we will only accept contracts to carry out work which we have the capacity, resources and expertise to carry out to a high standard.
• we will continually implement and improve systems to deliver on our commitments.

2 ProForest aims to provide a good value service basing costs on ensuring sufficient income to provide long-term stability and sufficient internal investment.

3 ProForest aims to be an environmentally responsible company through implementation and regular review of its environmental policy.

4 ProForest aims to be an ethical company through implementation and regular review of its ethical policy which covers banking, pension investments and clients.

5 ProForest aims to provide a stimulating and supportive working atmosphere for its employees. In particular we aim to:
• support people in balancing personal and family life with work.
• support each person’s continued professional development in line with ProForest’s needs.
• implement a strong health and safety policy including provision of permanent income insurance.
• ensure equal treatment for part-time workers.

6 ProForest aims to actively avoid discrimination on the basis of sex, race, religion, age, physical disability or sexual orientation in recruitment of staff and sub-contractors and in the interaction between staff at work.
