Who can use CPET?
A list of eligible users
CPET is designed for the following types public sector bodies and their suppliers:
- Central government departments
- Executive agencies
- Local government
- Non-departmental public bodies
- Direct suppliers to central and local government.
The UK Government, which is funding these services, restricts the use of the CPET Helpline service to the above categories. Private companies who are not eligible to use the free CPET Helpline or attend the training workshops can get advice on legal and sustainable timber procurement from a number of other organisations .
