Construction sector study

Background

Defra commissioned the Construction Sector Pilot study to highlight current implementation levels of the timber procurement policy. The Construction Sector Study was set up with a focus at major Government construction projects.

Methodology

CPET selected and visited construction projects across Government departments and assessed how the timber procurement policy was implemented on the ground.

Technical review group

A technical review group was established to capture input from relevant industry stakeholders.
