The Pilot Study Project and the meetings held with CPET was set as an opportunity for open and transparent discussions as a basis for learning.
The information from the study provide an idea of the implementation of the Government’s timber procurement policy in construction and will be used more widely to inform the ongoing discussion on sustainable procurement.

Defra has been provided with the report on the study, outlining the findings of the construction project pilot study. Defra will be following up on the recommendations and see the report as a helpful assessment of progress to date and will inform the current and future work.
