Responsible sourcing vacancies in Proforest’s Colombia office
Proforest is looking for two Spanish-speaking professionals to support our growing responsible production programmes and consultancy services, based in Colombia.
One role is offered as an entry-level assistant project manager role, an ideal role for someone with relevant qualifications but limited practical experience. The other role is for a more experienced project manager and involves supporting the delivery of a variety of services such as field assessments and improvement plans, research, and training.
Both positions offer the chance to work with major international brands, consumer goods clients and agricultural and forestry commodity production companies.
The Proforest Colombia office was established in Santiago de Cali, in the southwest of the country, in late 2016 to service Spanish-speaking Latin America, with a decentralised team of five people. Proforest also has another regional office in Brasilia, Brazil.
Daniel Arancibia, Proforest’s Latin America Regional Manager, said, “The establishment of the office in Cali and these two new roles reflect the rapid expansion of Proforest’s responsible sourcing work in Latin America. As well as working with an ever-growing list of clients, we are also working with new commodity sectors, from soy and cattle to timber, reflecting a growing awareness of the importance of social and environmental sustainability.”
