Ruth Nussbaum appointed as associate director OCFT

Proforest director, Dr Ruth Nussbaum, has been appointed as Associate Director of the Oxford Centre for Tropical Forests.

The Oxford Centre for Tropical Forests (OCTF) is a network that brings together the vast intellectual capital and experience of practical issues relating to tropical forests within the Oxford area. The network includes several departments from the University of Oxford as well as various NGOs, private companies and a public sector body. It aims to foster greater links and intensify synergies between these organisations and others interested in tropical forestry. ProForest is one of the founding members of the OCTF.

In her new role, Ruth will be closely engaged with the strategic development of the OCTF as well as with the activities of the centre. For more information on the OCTF, see the OCTF website.
