Implementation of RSPO requirements
Four-day training for palm oil production companies
This course provides participants with advanced knowledge of the RSPO Principles and Criteria (P&C) and how to implement them in practice.
This course is designed for company staff responsible for implementing the requirements of the RSPO P&C in practice, as well as for other actors that support companies in the implementation of the RSPO.
The course consists of two days of classroom-based training (a mix of presentations, exercises and group work) and two days’ practical training at a palm oil company, including a practice internal audit.
At the end of the course participants will be familiar with the RSPO P&C, as well as RSPO supply chain requirements for mills, the key social and environmental requirements which form part of the standard, including HCVs and FPIC (Free Prior and Informed Consent) and any other relevant RSPO requirements (e.g. New Planting Procedure, and Remediation and Compensation Procedure).
The course instructors are qualified and experienced Lead Auditors, and experts on specific topics (e.g. High Conservation Values or HCV). They have extensive knowledge of planning for and practical implementation of the RSPO P&C.
