Responsible sourcing training

Helping companies to develop and implement responsible sourcing commitments

An online module and one-day workshop
Proforest has been helping companies to implement their responsible sourcing commitments for nearly two decades. In 2015, we developed the Responsible Sourcing Practical Guide to distil our approach into a number of key elements to support companies’ implementation of responsible sourcing commitments. Now we are offering this guidance as a formal training course, running for the first time in Brazil.

The responsible sourcing course aims to provide practical guidance for the development and implementation of responsible sourcing policies. The course is divided into an online module and a one-day workshop.

  • The online module consists of approximately 3.5 hours of self-learning and participants can complete it at their own pace. This module focuses on an understanding of the current situation and the development of responsible sourcing policies.
  • The workshop focuses on implementation of responsible sourcing policy. Topics include supply chain mapping, risk assessment, verification of suppliers and monitoring and communication policy.

The course will run for the first time in November 2016 in Brazil. For more information and to register for this course, click here
