ProForest at the 5th Annual RSPO Round Table

20 - 22 November 2007, Kuala Lumpur.

RT5Attended by about 540 participants from 28 countries, the 5th Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil Roundtable Meeting (RT5) witnessed the launch of the RSPO Certification System for Sustainable Palm Oil.

With the certification system in place, the availability of RSPO Certified Sustainable Palm Oil in the first quarter of 2008 is expected.

Neil Judd, Director of ProForest presented 2 papers at the meeting: an update and presentation of results of the RSPO Principles & Criteria review, and presenting the final version of RSPO Certification Systems. 

ProForest stated in an article in  The Malaysian Business Times that the development of the RSPO certfication had been a major acheivement.
