Moray Mcleish

Moray has worked in the natural resources management sector for over 12 years, with experience in field-level implementation, research, policy development and environmental due diligence. He has most recently lived in Indonesia for 5 years working on practical solutions to reducing illegal logging and piloting a legality verification and timber tracking system. He has experience in assisting businesses to set standards to meet market requirements for sustainability, in implementing these throughout the supply chain, in auditing and advising on compliance. Moray is associate director at ProForest.

Andreas Knoell

Andreas has a background in wood science and cultural anthropology and has extensive field experience in natural resource management, most recently as coordinator for a research project on forest certification processes in Malaysia. As a researcher at the University of Hamburg, he has worked on a range of forestry related issues, including biofuels, public procurement policies and support to timber industries in achieving sustainable forest management. He has also worked with environmental NGOs and within the EU-FLEGT process.
