Supporting Tesco's preparations for EU Timber Regulation
In March 2013 the requirements of the EU Timber Regulation will come into force. In view of these new requirements, Tesco has asked Proforest to carry out a review of their responsible sourcing policy and associated procedures.For Tesco | 2011
Proforest has provided recommendations on how to ensure that Tesco's policy complies with the EU Timber Regulation. Subsequently Proforest provided a revised Tesco policy and procedures, and conducted training for Tesco staff to raise the level of understanding of the requirements of the EU Timber Regulation and to demonstrate how to apply Tesco’s policy and procedures to meet those requirements in practice.
