Teaching Best Management Practices for oil palm cultivation in Ghana

The second in a series of ‘Training the Trainers’ sessions took place in the Western region of Ghana last week.

In partnership with Solidaridad and the Ghanaian Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Proforest has been supporting a programme designed to support Best Management Practices (BMP) for oil palm cultivation.

The training is a key element of Ghana’s APOI (Africa Palm Oil Initiative) Action Plan, which is now well into its implementation phase.
