Aravin Pillai

Aravin graduated from the University of Nottingham Malaysia with an honours bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. He works mainly on responsible sourcing projects for agricultural commodities such as palm, sugar and coconut. He also supports multi-stakeholder collaboration projects as the coordinator of the Social Issues Working Group (SIWG) and team member of the Implementation Reporting Framework (IRF) Active Working Group. He gained experience in ESG reporting and sustainability frameworks as a former intern at KPMG. Aravin previously worked at the University of Reading Malaysia, supporting students in career development and environmental education initiatives. He also leads various capacity building initiatives in a Malaysian NGO that raises awareness of climate change policies among youths. Aravin speaks fluent English and Malay.
