David D'Hollander
Deputy Director - Collaboration
David holds an MA in contemporary history and international development from the University of Gent (Belgium). Before joining Proforest, David worked at ISEAL where he was part of the innovations programme with a focus on landscape and jurisdictional approaches. He also led policy and outreach work addressing the relation between regulation and voluntary sustainability tools and initiatives. Earlier in his career David was a research fellow at the Centre for Global Governance Studies (University of Leuven), where he contributed to research on voluntary supply chain governance. In addition to his focus on market-driven sustainability, David has also worked on the intersection between human rights and international development and was an intern at the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (Special Procedures branch).
