Louise Cavalcante

With a strong interdisciplinary academic foundation, Louise has navigated through diverse areas of knowledge, starting with a Bachelor's degree in Ecology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. She further expanded her expertise to the social sciences, obtaining a Master's in Sustainable Development from the University of Brasília. She is currently nearing the conclusion of her PhD in Public Administration and Policy at Wageningen University.

Professionally, she has engaged in research focused on climate change adaptation strategies in the Brazilian semi-arid and Amazon. Beyond academia, she has contributed to projects aimed at promoting the Sustainable Development Goals in the Brazilian municipalities agendas and at oil, gas and mining companies.
