Surin Suksuwan

Surin has more than 20 years’ experience in natural resource management and biodiversity conservation, with a particular interest in protected area planning and management, forest landscape management and plant conservation. He has been involved in initiatives related to HCV development and palm oil certification.

Surin is based in the Southeast Asia office in Kuala Lumpur. As well as English, Surin is proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia. He has an MSc in Biodiversity and Taxonomy of Plants from the University of Edinburgh and is a member of the World Commission on Protected Areas.
