Emily holds an MSc in Conservation and Biodiversity and a BSc in Zoology, both from the University of Exeter.
In her previous role, Emily was a Consultant at a Natural Resource Consultancy working predominantly on the sustainable sourcing of forest risk and agricultural commodities, particularly palm oil and timber. This involved providing technical assistance to both the public and private sector on topics such as illegality, certification, policies, and regulations. Through this, Emily has developed vast knowledge into commodity supply chains and has considerable stakeholder engagement and in country experience.
Additionally Emily worked at a carbon offsetting company within the carbon finance sector on safe water and improved cookstove projects in Africa.
