Marcelo Posonski

Marcelo has over 15 years of experience in supporting companies, NGOs and multisectoral initiatives to develop and deploy solutions for the sustainable use of natural resources and the responsible sourcing of agricultural commodities. At Proforest Marcelo is part of its Global Responsible Sourcing Team and leads the Technical Operations of its Latin America – South Office. Before joining Proforest Marcelo worked for a consultancy company focused on sustainable forest management and for an NGO on business and biodiversity approaches. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Forestry, a master's degree in Forestry Sciences and post graduate studies in Environmental Management from the Universidade Federal do Paraná (Brazil).
