Eduardo Albuquerque

Eduardo holds a bachelor's in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). He has participated in an Erasmus Mundus Joint Degree Program called SUFONAMA (Sustainable Forest and Nature Management). He also achieved an MSc in Forest Science from the University of Padova (IT) and an MSC in Forest Ecosystem, Nature, and Society from the University of Copenhagen (DK).

He previously developed science-based projects regarding sustainable energy and has experience with environmental consultancy, business development, and Life Cycle Assessment analyses, both nationally and internationally.

He has worked in partnership with TRASE, Stockholm Environmental Institute, and the University of Padova on his master’s thesis regarding the deforestation impact of beef sold in Pernambuco, and the biomes/regions more affected by it in Brazil. He speaks fluently English and Portuguese, with knowledge of German and Italian.
