Lara Aquino

Lara is graduated in Agronomy (UnB), with a master's degree in Sustainable International Agriculture from the Universities of Göttingen and Kassel, Germany. She studied in Portugal as part of the Science without Borders Programme. She has experience as a research assistant in Organic farming and Agroforestry in Germany and Bolivia and was an intern at the UNDP for the World Food Programme. In recent years, she has dedicated herself to setting up an agroforestry production project, poultry farming, environmental education and ecotourism on a family property. She enjoys the open spaces in Brasilia and the surrounding region.
