Luis Gomez

Luis holds a degree in Systems Engineer from Icesi University, with a passion for the world of technology. As a data analyst at Proforest, he mainly works in process automation, data extraction, transformation and cleaning processes; for analysis and identification of relevant patterns and trends. Before joining Proforest, Luis did an internship at ISA Interconexiones, a company in the energy sector, as a data analyst of audit and compliance. There, he was able to implement process automation and optimisation solutions, as well as customised applications for data capture. He also has experience in software development, and has outstanding quick learning skills and a self-taught nature.

Luis divides the things he likes to do in his free time into two main things: the first is that he likes to practice and update the technologies he already knows and those that are appearing over time, since the world of technology is very dynamic and every day there are new things to learn/know. The second is that when he wants to disconnect completely from everyday life he likes to read a lot (science fiction mainly), do some sports, and go out to do activities in nature such as hiking in the cliffs of Cali.
