Marie Lavialle-Piot

Marie has more than 10 years of experience in setting up responsible supply chains for the private sector. She has extensive knowledge of tropical commodities such as cocoa, palm and coconut. She previously held the position of Global Sustainability Lead for tropical oils at Cargill, where she was responsible for the development and execution of the tropical oils sustainability strategy, management of corporate accounts, cross-sector partnerships and implementation of sustainability programmes in Asia and Latin America.    

Marie holds a master’s degree in agriculture and trading of food commodities. She is based in the Netherlands and speaks French, English and Dutch.
