Metia Lembasi

Metia holds a master’s degree in Forest Resources and Conservation from the University of Florida.

Her experience from the forestry and agriculture sector includes chain of custody certification, capacity building, and sustainable project management.

Before joining Proforest, Metia was a Programme Manager with an Indonesian non-governmental organisation (NGO) where she managed five partner portfolios, supervised the preparation of smallholder groups for palm oil certifications, and developed small-scale businesses under communities’ management. 

Metia is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia and is based in Jakarta.
