Tania Caro
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement Manager
Graduated from the Faculty of Biology of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo. Slow Food International volunteer since 2011. She worked from 2010 to 2015 with rural aquaculture producers to link them to responsible consumption markets. From 2016 to 2018 she collaborated in an advertising agency participating in the development of institutional campaigns, with emphasis on the environmental sector and the productive sector.
Tania believes that the sustainability that our society and planet need can only be achieved in collaboration of all the actors involved in the value chains: producers, companies, NGOs, government and consumers, therefore she works to generate these spaces of involvement to achieve a more just and sustainable society.
In her free time she enjoys traveling and getting to discover new places, cultures and experiences. She loves going to the art cinema, swimming, scuba diving, cycling and visiting her friends and family.
