Lisa has an MSc degree in Zoology from the Institute of Biodiversity and Environmental Conservation at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia. Her thesis focused on the ecology of mammals within the oil palm plantation landscape. She has over six years of research expertise in wildlife conservation, with a special interest for Bornean mammals. Prior to joining Proforest, she was involved in a wide range of biodiversity assessments and wildlife consultancy projects throughout the protected area networks and in a large-scale oil palm plantation in Sarawak.
She is based in the Southeast Asia office in Kuala Lumpur and speaks English, Bahasa Malaysia, Cantonese and Mandarin. She enjoys Milo Ais too much.
