Delivering the UK Government FCDO Global Development Delivery Framework

We’re delighted to announce that Proforest is part of a successful consortium, led by Oxford Policy Management, to deliver Lot 1, Climate Change and Nature, of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) Global Development Delivery Framework Agreement. We’re working with some great partners in the consortium, including SNV, Pegasus, IIED and M&C Saatchi, who bring a fantastic breadth and depth of knowledge to the group.  

We’re looking forward to seeing the consortium get underway and contributing our expertise on areas including nature and biodiversity loss and forest protection, as well as climate adaptation, mitigation and private finance for nature and climate. Bringing our practical expertise from Proforest’s teams in Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America means we can provide appropriate, practical solutions that are grounded in local experience. 

Each project in the Climate Change and Nature lot will be between £7,000,000 and £100,000,000, and the key services to be delivered by the consortium include: 

• Technical advice and expertise to inform, shape and support policy, planning, programme design, programme implementation and monitoring and evaluation 

• Managing the development and implementation of climate and environment programmes at sub-national, national and international levels 

• Addressing technical gaps and raising awareness and understanding of environmental, biodiversity and climate risks 

• Support FCDO and other UK government departments to align all overseas development assistance (ODA) spending with the Paris Agreement and support UK efforts to ensure bilateral ODA becomes ‘nature positive’.
