Proforest at CoP28

Proforest will be represented in Dubai by Ali Merifield, Director of Communications; Shinta Puspitasari, Principal Project Manager working on MSI and policy, and landscapes in Indonesia, and Daleba Kpenahi, who leads our work in Côte d'Ivoire.

Daleba is speaking about the Africa Sustainable Commodities Initiative at two Côte d'Ivoire pavilion events and Proforest's Louis Defo will be taking part in a remote panel on Cameroon as part of our producer-consumer country work under the EUDR. Ali will be speaking about stakeholder mapping at a Global Commons Alliance event. The whole team will be taking part in a FACT dialogue event, and meeting partners and donors.

In addition, Proforest has signed the Non-State Actors Call to Action for Transforming Food Systems for People, Nature, and Climate and the It's Time to Take Stock In Nature open letter.

As well as the Nature Pavilion we will be meeting at the Food Systems Pavilion and Food & Agriculture Pavilion, with some interesting events lined up with stakeholders, as well as engaging with our partners and national country pavilions where Proforest works.
