Proforest Initiative releases its first ever Annual Report

The Proforest Initiative is part of the non-for-profit Proforest Group, whose mission is to help people produce and source natural resources sustainably.

Through the Proforest Initiative we deliver long-term, programmatic support to governments, civil society and companies to facilitate broad change in agricultural commodity and forest supply chains.

Our new Annual Report offers a snapshot of the Proforest Initiative’s achievements in 2014. We introduce our work on sustainable palm oil production in West Africa and Latin America; describe the capacity building we delivered through the Africa Practitioners Network; and outline our contributions in 2014 to international multistakeholder initiatives – the SHARP Partnership, High Conservation Value Resource Network, and Tropical Forest Alliance 2020.
