Visit the Proforest booth at RT17 in Bangkok in November

Converting Commitments into Action is the theme for this year’s roundtable meeting, which will bring together supply chain companies, producers, processors, smallholders, governments and NGOs from around the world.

Proforest’s Bilge Daldeniz will be participate in the first plenary session of the roundtable, on Achieving Shared Responsibility, and will moderate another session titled, The Next Decade: Palm Oil & Certified Sustainable Palm Oil.

At the annual roundtable meeting last year, RSPO shared the success of the adoption of their enhanced Principles and Criteria (P&Cs), following an in-depth review process facilitated by Proforest and Daemeter. This year the focus will be on putting words into action.

The focus on accelerating action in the run up to the many 2020 sustainability targets aligns well with Proforest’s latest briefing note, which provides an overview of the actions companies need to take both within and beyond supply chains. Hard copies of this and other Proforest publications and guidance will be available in hard copy at the Proforest booth in the exhibition hall.
