Andrés Escobar
GIS Analyst
Andrés is a Topographic Engineer from Universidad del Valle, with a strong inclination towards geospatial technologies, research and the different stages of software development. He has experience in research projects focused on land use and land cover classification using CORINE LAND COVER methodologies, as well as in automated feature extraction for multipurpose cadastre and related areas through the implementation of the LADMCOL model. He is interested in supporting projects that integrate technological innovation and practical solutions, such as geospatial database management, photogrammetric processing, 3D modeling and GIS process automation. He is currently pursuing a Software Development Technology program, complementing his focus on software analysis, development, visualization and management, and data management optimization.
In his free time he enjoys watching movies of various genres, experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, getting to know and discovering new places; activities that allow him to relax and develop his creativity from other perspectives.
