Diah Putri Utami

Diah holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Governance from the University of Freiburg, Germany. Her experience spans across research and advisory services in international development, and climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Before joining Proforest, Diah worked with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Indonesia office, where she managed an agricultural insurance project targeting smallholder farmers as part of the country’s climate change adaptation strategies.

Diah also supported UNIQUE Land Use GmbH, a consulting firm focused on developing and implementing land use solutions; addressing both climate change mitigation and adaptation. Her work focused on carbon project development, REDD+, deforestation-free supply chains, and private sector land use investments.
