Ellie has an interdisciplinary background across climate, nature and systems innovation. Most recently, as Innovation Manager for South Pole's consultancy team, Ellie worked on new tools and practices to support corporate climate action on GHG accounting, SBTi roadmaps, supplier engagement and climate risk. As Programme Lead of Climate-KIC’s Resilient Regions programme Ellie worked with European regions, and local partnerships, to design portfolios of climate adaptation actions across cities and landscapes. Whilst at Climate-KIC Ellie was also involved in the global Climate Smart Forest Economy Programme, building and learning from public-private partnerships of forest economy actors. Alongside these positions, Ellie has been a consultant researcher for several research institutes contributing to work on urban climate adaptation, resilience financing mechanisms and nature-based solutions. To her roles, Ellie brings experience in multi-stakeholder collaboration and facilitation, knowledge co-creation, and programme management.

Ellie has an MSc in Ecological Economics from The University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Ecology and Conservation from St Andrews University.
