Jaime García
Human Rights and Livelihoods Specialist
Jaime has over 8 years of experience advising and supporting companies in managing inclusion processes throughout their value chain. He has led the publication of reports documenting successful cases of economic inclusion in Colombia for Venezuelan migrants and people with disabilities, and strategies to close gender gaps in the private sector. He has also developed methodologies aimed at inclusive procurement and employment.
A trained qualitative researcher, Jaime has worked on projects funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF). He holds a B.A. in Political Science and a master’s degree in Community Sustainability. He completed his graduate studies as a Fulbright Scholar, focusing his research on Diversity and Inclusion practices in the Food Industry in Colombia.
In his free time, he enjoys trying new recipes, walking around Bogota’s downtown, and spending time with his cats.
