Jess Callaghan-Evans
Principal Project Manager
Jess has an MSc in Conservation Ecology from Oxford Brookes University. Before completing her master’s degree, she worked for an environmental NGO in the Maldives, where she coordinated five separate volunteer programmes. She also worked as a volunteer coordinator for a conservation-focused NGO in the tropical peat swamps of Indonesian Borneo, where she learned various animal and habitat surveying techniques. In this role, she also widened her knowledge of the ways in which social, environmental, and economic factors surrounding forest commodities can intersect and she has been fascinated by the complexities of developing sustainable production practices ever since.
