Leonardo Goodall

Leo supports projects in the Beyond Supply Chain and Responsible Sourcing and Production teams, assisting colleagues to ensure clients deliver on their commitments and succeed in collaborative initiatives. Leo comes from a background that includes working both at NGOs and in the corporate sector. He speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese, having also worked and lived in Portugal, Brazil and Argentina. Before joining Proforest, he worked at Global Canopy as a researcher for the Forest 500 and Floresta 250 assessments, analysing companies’ deforestation and human rights commitments across multiple commodity supply chains.

Leo holds an MSc in Environmental Policy and Management from The University of Bristol and a BA in Modern European Studies (Spanish, Portuguese, and History) from the University of Nottingham. His master’s dissertation interrogated the UK Government’s Critical Minerals Policy, with an eye on sustainable supply-chain management of geopolitically sensitive resources necessary for the energy transition.
