Shivdi is a private sector development practitioner with over 15 years of experience in sustainability, human rights, and economic development across global supply chains. Her work has focused on local economic development, supporting companies to advance responsible business practices and strengthening human rights due diligence across agricultural supply chains.

Prior to joining Proforest, she worked as the Business and Innovation Lead at the Ethical Tea Partnership, where she facilitated industry collaboration efforts and developed responsible business interventions between suppliers and buyers. In this role, she played a key part in embedding human rights due diligence into the membership criteria, facilitating capacity-building initiatives, and designing innovative solutions to improve transparency and sustainability in supply chains.

Prior to this, Shivdi worked as a Business and Human Rights Consultant at twentyfifty, where she conducted human rights impact assessments across multiple sourcing regions, including Malawi, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Indonesia, and Turkey. She has also held roles at a range of organisations from research think tanks to CSOs. She has worked with the Institute of Development Studies, the Cropper Foundation, and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Caribbean, contributing to programs focused on local economic development, environmental governance, and south-south trade.

Shivdi holds an MA in Globalisation, Business, and Development from the Institute of Development Studies (UK), along with a BA in City Studies & Human Geography from the University of Toronto. Her work aims to contribute to positive change in global supply chains and supporting businesses in promoting sustainable development.
