A Proforest é uma organização com uma missão. Acreditamos que a produção de commodities agrícolas deve ser feita de forma a preservar o ambiente natural onde são cultivadas, beneficiar as pessoas que vivem e trabalham na região e criar um clima resiliente.

O que fazemos

Somos apaixonados por ajudar as pessoas a produzir e comprar commodities agrícolas e florestais de forma responsável. É por isso que apoiamos as empresas em toda a cadeia de fornecimento, para que elas possam gerar resultados sociais e ambientais positivos nos locais onde as commodities são produzidas.

Impacto

Gender and social inclusion strategy for the Asunafo-Asutifi Production Landscape

The objective is to promote gender and social inclusion actions in the identified Hotspot Intervention Areas (HIAs) in the Asunafo-Asutifi landscape in the Ahafo region of Ghana. This is to ensure a gender responsive forest landscape that gives equal voice, access, participation and influence for diverse women and men, mostly in the implementation of the ongoing Ghana Cocoa Forest REDD+ Programme (GCFPR) and other future natural resources projects and programmes in the landscape.
