James Akossah

James has a background in forest and nature management with a special interest in conservation, natural resource conflicts and stakeholder engagement. He has a dual MSc in Sustainable Forest and Nature Management from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and Bangor University, UK, as well as a BSc degree in Forest Resources Technology with a specialisation in social forestry from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. James worked as a teaching and research assistant at KNUST and also with the Forest Services Division of the Forestry Commission of Ghana prior to pursuing his MSc degree.
