Marcela Mendez

Marcela has a bachelor’s in Economics from Los Andes University and a Master's in Business Administration from Icesi University. She has solid experience in project management, business development strategies, and financial models for the private and public sectors. She is passionate about participating in initiatives that promote gender equity, social innovation, and environmental sustainability. 

Marcela's leadership roles and achievements are a testament to her professional growth and capabilities. As a Project Coordinator for the National and Municipal Government for four years, she successfully advised private sector companies and non-profit organizations on market research, digital communications strategies, organizational alliance identification, and strategic planning.

She has experience in budgeting and program proposals that promote the education and employability of women and gender-diverse communities in non-profit organizations.

Marcela loves the arts and yoga. She is a photographer, writer, and co-founder of Raga Studio, a startup she created to support Latino businesses and NGOs in Canada.
