Melissa Chin

Melissa has over 10 years’ experience in natural resource management, sustainable development and climate change. Prior to joining Proforest, she worked with organisations such as RSPO and WWF-Malaysia where was involved in project management, policy analysis and development of standards, as well as training and awareness raising. She is also familiar with stakeholder engagement, having worked closely with multi-national companies, non-governmental organisations, government agencies, smallholders, development agencies and certification bodies.

She is based in the Southeast Asia office in Kuala Lumpur. Melissa speaks English, Bahasa Malaysia and Cantonese. She holds an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Environmental Science, Policy and Management.
