Nelson Londoño Gutiérrez
Conservation and Land Use Manager
Nelson has over a decade of experience in environmental risk management in mining and energy, endangered ecosystems and species, watershed and landscape planning. In the last five years, he has focused on sustainable agriculture projects with the Colombian palm oil federation (Fedepalma) and teaching environmental law at postgrad level. He has a bachelor’s in biology from the University of Quindío and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, a Master's in Conservation and Biodiversity Management from the University of Granada (Spain) and is pursuing a PhD in Sciences Applied to the Environment.
