Nicolás Andrade

Nicolás has over 4 years of experience in sustainability projects in the Colombian palm oil agroindustry, including the conservation of natural ecosystems, rational use of natural resources, responsible use of agrochemicals, waste management, and mitigation of environmental impacts derived from GHG emissions and effluent discharges. Before joining Proforest, Nicolás worked as an environmental analyst for a palm oil producing company in central Colombia, and other private firms in the sectors of public services management and infrastructure projects.

He is completing an undergraduate dregree in Agroforestry at Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia - UNAD.

In his spare time he enjoys gardening and cycling.
