Rachel Wall

Rachel holds an MA in Public Policy with a focus on environment and international development from Duke University, also receiving a certificate in community-based environmental management. Before joining Proforest, Rachel worked at the Better Cotton Initiative with a focus on standards and assurance, decent work, and data analysis. She also worked as a consultant in the sustainable trade and agricultural production sector, conducting field research with coffee farmers in Colombia and policy analysis on the topics of gender, voluntary sustainability standards, and private sector engagement.

Prior to joining the sustainable trade and agriculture sector, Rachel worked in social entrepreneurship and microfinance in Guatemala and the United States. During this time, she managed a randomised control trial which kickstarted her keen interest in evidence-based programming and policy.
