Bronwen is passionate about environmental conservation and graduated this year from the University of Cambridge, with a BA in Geography and an MPhil in Polar Studies. She has experience in forest research including using GIS to map forest loss in British Colombia, and fieldwork projects in Tenerife and Russian Siberia to monitor forest changes in response to climate change. Before joining Proforest, she completed a four-month internship with Global Canopy, assessing and ranking the 500 most influential companies and financial institutions in forest-risk commodity supply chains in terms of their deforestation commitments. As an Assistant Project Manager at Proforest she hopes to use these skills and experience to step beyond research, and help to support change on the ground. Outside of work, Bronwen is a keen mountaineer and enjoys spending time outside in nature.
