Alex is a University of Aberdeen graduate in MA Economics & Geography and MSc Environmental Partnership Management. As part of her masters degree, Alex studied the theory and practice of creating and managing environmental partnerships, for example certification schemes, with a focus on cross-sector collaboration for the Sustainable Development Goals. Her dissertation was a partnership project with Climate Ready Aberdeenshire to help the group identify gaps in and support required to progress third sector climate change adaptation across the region.
Prior to Proforest, she worked as an Environmental Advisor for a sustainability-focused offshore survey company, among others developing its GHG reporting system, drafting its roadmap to Net Zero, conducting environmental audits, producing sustainability reports, and delivering webinars.
