Arthur has a background in sustainable development with a particular interest in environmental management, participation and conflict management.

Arthur believes that participation is not only one of the main principles of sustainable development, but also an important precondition for reducing social inequalities, social exclusion and for effective landscape management.

As part of his research, he therefore worked as a sustainability assistant in a palm oil production company in Cameroon, focusing on the effectiveness of multi-stakeholder platforms for landscape's conflict management between local communities and the agricultural company. In addition, he also worked as a project assistant in Belgium, Namur with an NGO on a responsible production and consumption project.

Arthur holds a master's degree in environmental mediation from the University of Namur, Belgium, and a master's degree in natural resource management from the University of Dschang-FASA, Cameroon.

He is fluent in English and French.
