Chris Eves

Chris has a background in sustainable soft commodities, particularly timber and pulp production, and in green investment, business sustainability, and natural capital markets.
He joins from the UK Infrastructure Bank, where he developed the Bank’s policy position on natural capital, having previously been involved in the design of the Bank whilst at BEIS. Prior to this, he worked at WWF-UK on their corporate partnership with the Mondi Group and on the Trillion Trees initiative. At ZSL, he launched the SPOTT ESG toolkit for investors and buyers in the tropical timber and pulp sectors, worked closely with forestry companies to help them improve their performance, and represented ZSL within the FSC and other forums. He also has five years of experience working on diverse sustainability challenges as an environmental consultant at AECOM.
He has an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, where he specialised in ecological management.
