Building on the success of the Soy Toolkit, Proforest is developing a Beef Toolkit, a capacity building tool designed to support beef buying companies implement their no deforestation, no conversion and human rights commitments. As a user-friendly, publicly available resource, the toolkit links to existing beef initiatives, tools and approaches and integrates those into a clear 5-step process for responsible beef sourcing.
To develop the Toolkit, Proforest has been consulting with beef buyers, NGOs and technical service providers.
